Irrespective of the nature or kind of industry, management professionals play an essential part in the smooth running of an organization or firm. In an organization or business firm, everything would become chaos without properly managing business activities/operations. And hence, management professionals are considered the key assets of an organization. So, if one is thinking of pursuing future career in the business management field, getting a master's in management degree can be a milestone in achieving big goals; firstly, a master's degree in management would allow an individual to greatly enhance his/her existing level of understanding regarding the field of business management and secondly, it would help in an easy absorption in the industry as candidates with sound academic profiles are preferred by the employers.
Explaining my academic background, currently, I am holding Bachelor of Commerce degree (completed in year 20XX from XXXX university/college, achieving first division). And now, my plan is to pursue Master's of Management degree course at Monash University (Australia). For the same, I have made an application for Australian Student Visa (subclass 500).
Deciding to study further, firstly I researched India for my study options and found that for admission to a master's degree in management at India's reputed business schools, not having a good rank in national level management exams is a great hurdle. Also, practical engagement of students is quite occasional during their study at Indian institutions. So, they may have a sound theoretical understanding of various methods/techniques, but they are hardly capable of utilizing these practically.
Studying in Australia seems to be the most compatible option to me for my higher studies: various globally known Australian institutions are offering master's in management degree courses and that too without any special requirements of management test scores. It is more affordable for international students to study a master's in management degree course at Australian institutions than at equally reputed institutions in USA or UK. International students reviewed Australia as a better destination for living and studying abroad, taking into account the safety factor for international students. Various Australian cities are marked as one of the best students cities in the world, offering world's best living standards at reasonable costs.
To me, various factors played an important part in making the decision of pursuing a master's in management degree course at Monash University; as Monash University is a member of the "Group of Eight" universities in Australia, no doubt remains regarding the best quality of education offered by it. Master's in Management degree course at Monash University is designed in such a way, it fosters the development of specialist management knowledge/skills to respond to opportunities and challenges in modern industrial (tech-led) environments. International Study Grant provided by Monash University significantly lowers the amount of tuition fee paid by an international student to study a full-time course at Monash University. Caulfield campus of Monash University is situated just a few minutes' drive away from Melbourne CBD and hence, I can easily accommodate in Melbourne; Australia's best student city in terms of living standards and affordability.
Completing the master's in management degree course at Monash University I would be eligible of applying for post-study work stream visa for Australia that would help me to stay back in Australia for some additional period of time and gain professional working experience. However, I am not sure about my plans of applying for the same, but I am sure of my plans for returning back to my homeland for pursuing my professional career journey in a long run. Throughout the year various Indian employers recruit management graduates, but I would most probably try to find future employment in India with either of these employers: Reliance Group, TCS, Accenture, HDFC Bank or ICICI Bank etc. Work culture at these organizations is considered the best in India and also, they paid quite decent starting salaries to management graduates (management analysts, management executives etc.) as well.
Hence, Master's in Management degree course from Monash University will let me create better possibilities for a rewarding career ahead in the future and so, I made a request to you kindly grant me an Australian Student Visa (Subclass 500) to complete the above-specified course at Monash University.
