BBA Full Form: BBA is the abbreviated/short form of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree course. In India, BBA is mostly of 3 years duration (full-time). However, students from different backgrounds i.e. studied subjects other than business studies, accountancy, and economics can pursue this course but in general, it is believed to be the best suitable professional degree course after completing schooling with commerce subjects i.e. studied economics, accountancy, and business studies as a core part of the studies at the senior-secondary (12th) level studies; it is easier for a student with commerce background to understand better, the terminology used and concepts being studied in the BBA course.

In general, at least an aggregate percentage of 50-60 % at level 12th studies with any stream from a recognized board/university/council is necessarily required for admission to BBA degree course at most of the Indian institutions. Also, relaxation (5% or more, depending upon the university) is offered in the minimum percentage of marks required to meet the eligibility conditions for admission to BBA degree course for the students belonging to different categories i.e. SC, OBC, ST, Physically Challenged or defense personnel/Ex-servicemen wards. 

Remember, some institutions require English and Mathematics as key subjects during level 12th studies for offering admission to a particular specialization under the BBA degree course. So, be sure of the admission requirements before making an application for a particular specialization under the BBA degree course. For foreign nationals seeking admission to Indian universities/colleges, providing documentary evidence for their English language proficiency i.e. English language exam score (IELTS, PTE or TOEFL etc.) report is also necessary for making an application for BBA admissions.

Admission to a BBA degree course at Indian institutions can be made only on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam and also, at some Indian institutions, students may be asked to appear for the entrance exam and/or admission interview for admission to a BBA degree course alongside the merit in the qualifying exam.
