It was my childhood fantasy to become a business professional and for transforming my dreams into reality I studied business subjects (accountancy, business studies and economics) during my senior secondary school level studies to lay down a sound foundation for my higher studies in the business field. After this, in order to enhance my knowledge and understanding regarding the field of business management, I made the decision of pursuing a BBA degree course from XXXXX (mention university name). I performed well during my college-level studies (bachelor's degree); achieved 75.5% marks. On completion of BBA degree course, I got placed at XXXXXX (employer's name) in August 2018 as a "Business Development Executive".
As a part of my working responsibilities I significantly contribute towards the creation of new business ideas that could generate profits for the firm. But during my working tenure, I realized that upgrading my skills regarding the field of business analytics can greatly help me to level up in my professional career; business analytics is a newly emerging working domain in India, offering financially rewarding career options. And finally, I make up my mind for pursuing further a master's degree course in business analytics and made a thorough investigation for the same not only in India but at various other abroad destinations i.e. USA, UK, Australia and Canada. After researching for the study option available in India for pursuing a master's in business analytics degree course I found that for getting an advanced knowledge regarding the field of business analytics, pursuing my further studies in abroad would be more appealing to me; at abroad institutions I can get exposure of latest technologies and knowledge regarding world-class methods/techniques related to the domain of business analytics. Also, Indian education system being more theory-oriented, it would be quite difficult to get practical working skills regarding the concepts discussed during the course. These factors made me to think of pursuing my further studies in abroad.
After analyzing various factors I realized that UK would be the most suitable destination to me for pursuing a master's degree course in business analytics: UK is considered as one of the most preferred study abroad destinations among international students; being house to the world's most prestigious academic institutions, UK offers an opportunity to acquire world-class higher education. QAA (Quality Assurance Agency) ensures that the education offered to international students is of the best quality. UK's academic degree credentials are considered as one of the most recognized among world's most reputable employers and hence, with having a degree from an institution in the UK, much better career possibilities would be available. Also, considering the costs of study, UK offers comparatively affordable study options; durations of the courses at UK's institutions are just 1 year at most of the institutions offering master's in business analytics qualifications which significantly reduces the costs of study as it would take lesser time to complete studies. Also, while studying in UK, an international student can legally work part-time to meet extra expenses. And finally analyzing all these facts I make up my mind for pursuing my further studies in the UK.
In UK, I most preferably decided to study at East Anglia University (Norwich Business School). It is considered as a world-class academic institution, known globally for its groundbreaking research and academic excellence; placed at number 21st in Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021 and placed at number 25th in The Complete University Guide 2021 etc. Considering study costs, EAU is quite an affordable study option to international students; tuition fee costs are comparatively lower at EAU than other reputed institutions in UK offering master in business analytics degree courses. A range of scholarships is offered by EAU to international students. On exploring about respective course (MSc Business Analytics and Management) I noticed that it is quite a perfect study option for acquiring detailed working skills regarding identification, integration, and cleansing of data, various forms of data analysis, visualization and presentation of results and incorporation of results into business decision making processes; key areas associated with the field of business analytics. And hence, on knowing all this information I decided to pursue my further studies at EAU in the UK.
As my key goal is just to get a competent working skillset in the area of business analytics, I would prefer to return back to my home country just after completing my studies at EAU. In India, I have options to get employed with some of the best organizations (TCS, Tata Motors, Accenture, Infosys or KMPG etc.) with respective degree credential from EAU. I researched about salaries offered to business analytics professionals (business analyst, business process analyst or business intelligence analyst etc.) and found that in my starting years of professional career in the field of business analytics I can have possibilities to get annual packges in between INR 06-08 lakhs. So, I am quite hopeful towards a better career ahead on completion of my respective degree course at East Anglia University.
And hence, I request you to offer me a place in said course at your institution that would make me proficient to work in the domain of business analytics
